Gregory Stafford was elected as the Member of Parliament for Farnham and Bordon in the 2024 General Election, a new cross-county constituency across Surrey and Hampshire.
Greg has a strong local connection to the area, with his father's family as proud proprietors of Stafford's Sweet Shop, based in Haslemere.
As a former senior NHS director, Greg contributed to making key improvements for our health service, including reducing waiting times, improving patient care, and saving billions of pounds in taxpayer money. He also helped to recruit former clinicians to staff emergency hospitals during the global coronavirus pandemic.
Before the general election, Greg campaigned locally on improving local infrastructure and transport, protecting our environment, tackling crime, expanding our healthcare. Now in Parliament, Greg is honouring his commitment to his constituency and engaging with both local and national stakeholders on key issues for Farnham and Bordon.
Greg has already made representations on behalf of residents, businesses, and elected local government officials to national bodies and the Government, particularly on issues such as SEND education, VAT on independent schools, and bringing in new and improved transport services at a local level.
Greg’s website and social media will be updated frequently to reflect his constant work on some of the most pressing matters for his constituents.
